KU Pediatric Cancer patient Ally Woodbury of Shawnee is many things: a high school senior, a dancer, a sister, a spokesperson for organizations that support young people with cancer, a daughter, a lobbyist for medical research on Capitol Hill, a friend, a young woman living with Ewing’s sarcoma, and most recently a homecoming queen at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. Ally has embraced the motto of Lance Armstrong and has chosen to ”Live Strong.”
